Role Description The Government Relations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Alexandria, Egypt. This position is responsible for managing relationships with government entities and regulatory bodies, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations impacting manufacturing, marketing, and distribution activities. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring legislative and regulatory developments, preparing reports and recommendations, and representing the company in meetings, hearings, and consultations with government officials. The Government Relations Manager collaborates with internal stakeholders to align business strategies with regulatory requirements, supports the preparation of documentation for licenses and permits, and coordinates responses to governmental inquiries. The role also involves building networks with public institutions, supporting advocacy initiatives, and contributing to risk assessment related to governmental policies affecting the FMCG sector.

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Governmental Affairs and Government Relations skills, with experience engaging public authorities and regulatory bodies.
- Candidates should possess solid Legislative Relations skills, including the ability to track, interpret, and respond to laws, regulations, and policy changes.
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to assess regulatory impacts, prepare briefings, and support strategic decision-making.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication in professional and governmental settings.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor's degree in Law, Political Science, Public Administration, Business, or a related field are highly beneficial.
- Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, or a similar regulated industry, along with familiarity with Egyptian governmental procedures, will be an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional networks, work cross-functionally, and manage multiple priorities is preferred.
