Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain relationships with government entities, ministries, and regulatory bodies on behalf of the company
- Handle all government platforms and portals including Qiwa, Muqeem, GOSI, Absher, and Labor Office systems
- Process and follow up on residency (Iqama) issuance, renewal, and cancellation for employees
- Manage work permit applications, renewals, and modifications in line with Saudization and labor law requirements
- Handle employee documentation including visas, medical insurance registration, and exit/re-entry permits
- Ensure company compliance with Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD) regulations and Nitaqat requirements
- Liaise with the Chamber of Commerce, Municipality, and other relevant authorities for licenses, permits, and renewals
- Track and manage expiry dates for company licenses, employee documents, and government-related deadlines to avoid penalties
- Resolve issues related to labor disputes, violations, or discrepancies with government entities
- Prepare and submit required reports and documentation to government bodies as needed
- Stay updated on changes to Saudi labor law, government regulations, and platform updates, and advise management accordingly
- Coordinate with HR and internal departments to ensure smooth onboarding/offboarding from a government compliance perspective
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field
- Proven experience as a Government Relations Specialist (GRO) in Saudi Arabia
- Solid hands-on experience with Qiwa, Muqeem, GOSI, and Labor Office procedures
- Experience handling residency/Iqama, work permits, and employee documentation processes
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Qiwa, Muqeem, GOSI, Absher, and other Saudi government platforms
- Strong knowledge of Saudi labor law and Saudization (Nitaqat) requirements
- Proficiency in MS Office/Excel
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Fluency in Arabic and English
