Job Description:
- Lead, mentor, and manage the graphic design team to ensure high-quality output.
- Develop and maintain the club's brand identity through visual elements across all platforms.
- Collaborate with marketing, events, and other departments to design promotional materials, advertisements, social media graphics, and other visual content.
- Oversee the entire design process from concept to final execution, ensuring all projects are delivered on time.
- Ensure consistency in visual design elements across all projects.
- Stay updated with design trends, tools, and technologies, incorporating them into the department's workflow when necessary.
- Manage project timelines, ensuring the team meets deadlines and maintains a high level of creativity.
- Work closely with external vendors and print services when necessary.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
- Maintain and manage the graphic design budget, including software and resource procurement.
- Ensure all visuals are in compliance with brand standards and the club's values.
- Perform any additional tasks that might be necessary for easier workflow, within the main frame of the job's specialty.
Job requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in graphic design, with at least 2 year in a leadership or supervisory role.
Knowledge and Functional Skills:
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
- Familiarity with web design, motion graphics, and UI/UX principles is a plus.
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership abilities and a collaborative mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
