Graphic Designer
Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our Communications & Advertising Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality visual content that supports corporate communications, internal communications, marketing campaigns, and digital platforms. The candidate should possess strong design skills, a solid understanding of branding principles, and experience working with government or semi-government organizations.
Key Responsibilities
Corporate Communications
- Design corporate communication materials including reports, presentations, brochures, infographics, factsheets, newsletters, and executive communications.
- Ensure all visual assets align with the organization's brand identity and communication standards.
- Develop creative concepts and visual solutions that effectively communicate strategic messages.
Internal Communications
- Create engaging internal communication materials such as employee announcements, campaigns, awareness materials, event branding, posters, and digital signage.
- Support employee engagement initiatives through creative and impactful visual designs.
Social Media & Digital Content
- Design social media posts, digital campaigns, motion graphics (if applicable), and online advertisements.
- Develop visual content optimized for various digital platforms and communication channels.
- Collaborate with communications and marketing teams to execute content calendars and campaigns.
Branding & Creative Development
- Maintain and enhance brand consistency across all communication materials.
- Contribute to the development of creative concepts, campaign identities, and visual storytelling initiatives.
- Prepare artwork and production-ready files for print and digital distribution.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with internal departments, communication teams, agencies, and external stakeholders.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
- Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and ensure final deliverables meet business requirements.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years and maximum 5 years of professional experience in graphic design.
- Experience within Corporate Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or Advertising functions is preferred.
- Previous experience working with government, semi-government, public sector, or regulated organizations is highly desirable.
Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency in:
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe InDesign
- Adobe Acrobat
- Working knowledge of:
- Adobe After Effects (preferred)
- Adobe Premiere Pro (preferred)
- Microsoft PowerPoint design and presentation development
- Strong understanding of:
- Corporate branding
- Typography
- Layout design

- Digital and print production processes
- Social media creative design
