Role Overview
We are seeking a creative and technically skilled Multimedia Designer to join our team in Alexandria. In this onsite role, you will be responsible for designing visually compelling multimedia content with a strong focus on 3D modeling and booth/exhibition design. You will collaborate with the marketing and events teams to create immersive brand experiences that captivate audiences and drive engagement.
Key Responsibilities
3D & Booth Design
- Exhibition Booth Design: Conceptualize and design innovative, functional, and brand-aligned exhibition stands, trade show booths, and event spaces.
- 3D Modeling & Rendering: Create high-quality 3D models, renderings, and walkthroughs for client presentations and internal approvals using industry-standard software.
- Spatial Planning: Develop floor plans and layouts that optimize visitor flow and maximize engagement within physical spaces.
Multimedia Production
- Visual Content Creation: Design engaging multimedia content including motion graphics, video edits, and animations for digital signage, social media, and event screens.
- Graphic Design: Support the creation of marketing collateral such as brochures, banners, and promotional materials that align with booth designs and brand identity.
- Presentation Decks: Prepare compelling visual presentations (PowerPoint/Keynote) to pitch design concepts to clients and stakeholders.
Project Execution
- Vendor Coordination: Work closely with production and installation teams to ensure designs are feasible and executed according to specifications.
- Onsite Support: Occasionally assist with onsite setup during events to ensure the final output matches the design vision.
- Trend Research: Stay updated on the latest trends in exhibition design, 3D technology, and multimedia to keep our offerings innovative and competitive.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Fine Arts, Architecture, or a related field.
Experience
- 35 years of professional experience in a design role, with a proven portfolio showcasing exhibition booth designs and 3D visualizations.
Technical Skills (Must-Have)
- 3D Software: Proficiency in 3ds Max, SketchUp, Blender, or Cinema 4D.
- Rendering Engines: Experience with V-Ray, Corona, or Key Shot.
- Graphic Design: Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Motion Graphics: Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro is a strong plus.
- CAD Knowledge: Basic understanding of AutoCAD for technical drawings is beneficial.
Soft Skills
- Strong creative vision with attention to detail and spatial awareness.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (English proficiency is a plus).
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
