We are now looking for a Graphic Designer in Doha to help bring our ideas and campaigns to life across social, digital and offline channels.

Role Overview

As a Graphic Designer at Maison Elaris in Doha, you will be responsible for turning briefs into visually strong concepts and final assets. You will work closely with the creative, social and media teams to design campaigns for social media, display ads, websites, presentations and occasionally print and OOH.

This role is ideal for someone who is fast, detail oriented, understands modern digital aesthetics and is comfortable working on multiple brands at the same time in both Arabic and English.

Key Responsibilities

1. Creative Development

  • Translate creative briefs into clear visual concepts and design directions.
  • Develop static and basic motion creatives for:
  • Social platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, X, Snapchat, LinkedIn
  • Display and programmatic banners
  • YouTube thumbnails and video cover assets
  • Email and website visuals
  • Support in building brand identities, key visuals and campaign look and feel for Arabic and English markets.

2. Day to Day Design Production

  • Design social media posts, carousels, stories, reels covers and highlight icons in both Arabic and English layouts.
  • Adapt master creatives into multiple sizes and formats for different platforms.
  • Create simple animations or motion graphics where required.
  • Prepare print ready files when needed such as flyers, POSM, outdoor, event material.

3. Collaboration and Workflow

  • Work with the Creative Lead and Copywriters to align on concepts and messaging in Arabic and English.
  • Coordinate with the social media and paid media teams to ensure creatives meet platform specs and performance needs.
  • Participate in brainstorms, share visual ideas and moodboards.
  • Receive and implement feedback from internal teams and clients in a structured way.

4. Brand Consistency and Quality

  • Maintain consistent visual and language standards for Arabic and English across all touchpoints for each brand.
  • Use and maintain brand guidelines and design systems.
  • Ensure all files are organized, layered correctly and easy for others to reuse.
  • Deliver on time and flag potential delays early.

Required Skills and Experience

Experience

  • 2 to 4 years of experience as a Graphic Designer, preferably in an agency or fast paced marketing environment.

Design Tools

  • Strong command of Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
  • Working knowledge of After Effects or Premiere Pro for simple motion edits is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with Figma or Adobe XD for digital layouts is an advantage.

Language Requirements

  • Arabic: Native or fluent written and spoken Arabic is mandatory, including ability to work with Arabic typography and layouts.
  • English: Strong professional English for internal communication and some client work.

Portfolio

  • A strong portfolio that showcases:
  • Social media designs for brands in Arabic and English
  • Campaign creatives and key visuals
  • Any motion graphics or video layout work if available

Knowledge and Mindset

  • Deep understanding of social media design trends in the GCC region.
  • Strong sense of layout, typography in Arabic and English, color and visual hierarchy.
  • Ability to balance brand guidelines with fresh, modern design thinking.

Soft Skills

  • Detail oriented with high quality standards.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Open to feedback and collaborative working.
  • Proactive, curious and willing to experiment with new formats and styles.

Nice To Have
  • Experience in designing creatives for performance campaigns such as A/B variants for ads.
  • Experience with Qatar or wider MENA based brands.
  • Basic understanding of marketing metrics such as CTR and thumb stop rate and how design can impact them.
  • Experience working with photographers, videographers or 3D artists.
