Role Overview

Saudi Gold Refinery (SGR) is seeking a Graphic Designer in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to produce high-quality visual assets for corporate, operational, and product marketing functions. This role supports the communication of technical refining processes, LBMA-grade bullion products, and corporate governance initiatives through precise and compliant design work. The designer will work within a structured industrial environment where accuracy and brand integrity are paramount.

The Graphic Designer will report directly to the Marketing Manager and will play a key role in maintaining visual consistency across all internal and external touchpoints. This position requires a professional who can balance creative execution with strict regulatory requirements for product labeling and corporate reporting.

Key Responsibilities

The following responsibilities define the core duties of the Graphic Designer at Saudi Gold Refinery.

Corporate Design Execution

The role designs annual reports, investor decks, and executive presentations that accurately visualize financial and operational data for senior leadership and regulators.

Product Packaging Compliance

This position creates label and packaging designs for gold bullion products that strictly adhere to SASO hallmarking and LBMA Good Delivery visual standards.

HSE Visual Communication

The designer produces clear safety signage, PTW guides, and LOTO visual aids to support HSE protocols in the refinery and assay lab environments.

Digital Content Production

The role develops static and motion graphics for digital channels that highlight SGR's contribution to the Vision 2030 mining pillar and corporate ESG goals.

Brand Asset Management

This position maintains the central digital asset library to ensure version control and secure access to approved corporate imagery and logos.

Technical Illustration

The designer translates complex refining processes such as fire assay and electrolytic refining into accessible infographics for non-technical stakeholders.

Vendor Coordination

The role manages relationships with printing vendors and external agencies to ensure high-quality production of physical marketing materials and packaging.

Internal Support Design

This position supports HR and other departments by creating recruitment materials, onboarding visuals, and internal communication templates.

Qualifications

●     Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field from an accredited institution.

●     Minimum of five years of professional graphic design experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or corporate setting.

●     Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and After Effects.

●     Proven ability to create technical illustrations and data visualizations for complex industrial processes.

●     Strong knowledge of print production standards, color management, and packaging design requirements.

●     Experience working in regulated environments where compliance and accuracy are critical to business operations.

●     Fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

●     Portfolio demonstrating high-quality corporate branding, information design, and packaging work.

Preferred / Nice-to-have

●     Previous experience in the mining, precious metals, or heavy industry sectors.

●     Knowledge of Arabic typography and bilingual design layouts for local market engagement.

●     Familiarity with 3D modeling tools such as Blender or Cinema 4D for product visualization.

●     100% of corporate assets organized and tagged in the digital asset management system within six months.

●     20% reduction in external design agency spend through efficient in-house production of standard collateral.
