Role Overview
The
Groomer Driver is responsible for delivering professional pet grooming services at customers locations while safely operating and maintaining the mobile grooming van. The role combines pet grooming, driving, customer service, van maintenance, and appointment management to ensure a safe, convenient, and high-quality grooming experience for pets and their owners.
Responsibilities
- Transport and Set-Up: Safely drive the mobile grooming van to various locations, ensuring timely arrivals for scheduled appointments. Set up the grooming area within the van for efficient and effective pet care.
- Pet Care: Provide professional grooming services to pets, including washing, trimming, and styling, while ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
- Customer Interaction: Communicate with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences and address any concerns. Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with clients.
- Van Maintenance: Ensure the grooming van is clean, well-maintained, and stocked with necessary supplies. Perform regular checks and minor repairs as needed.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of appointments, services provided, and any client-specific notes to ensure continuity of care.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety and hygiene protocols to ensure the well-being of both pets and clients, as well as compliance with local regulations. In essence, the role combines driving, pet grooming, customer service, and van maintenance to provide convenient and high-quality grooming services on the go.
Must Have Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in pet grooming or a similar role.
- Valid UAE Manual Driving License.
- Proven professional pet grooming skills, including bathing, drying, trimming, and styling.
- Good knowledge of safe and appropriate pet handling.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple appointments efficiently.
- Comfortable working in a mobile grooming environment.
- Physically fit and able to handle pets and grooming equipment safely.
- Good attention to cleanliness, hygiene, and safety.
- Willingness to travel to different customer locations as required.
