About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Ground Control Systems (GCS) Project Manager to lead the development and delivery of advanced GCS solutions for unmanned aerial systems. This role involves managing cross-functional teams, engaging with military and regulatory stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with international engineering standards.
Key Responsibilities
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Collaborate with end-users, military stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to align GCS features with mission requirements.
- Manage subcontractors and vendors, ensuring technical and contractual performance.
- Provide regular updates, performance metrics, and risk mitigation plans to senior leadership.
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards (e.g., ISO 15288, DO-178C, NIST, MIL-STDs).
- Lead documentation efforts including verification matrices and certification deliverables.
- Oversee transition to integration, testing, and operational deployment, including training and support.
Operating Environment
- Comfortable working under pressure and adapting to changing priorities.
- Willingness to travel for reviews, integration activities, vendor visits, and field testing.

- Experience with system engineering tools (DOORS, Polarion, SysML/UML).
