Our client is a high-growth international mining business with global operations and a strong presence across Africa and the Middle East. Headquartered in Dubai, the company offers qualified accountants a unique opportunity to join at group level, supporting the leadership team on financial reporting, controls, and consolidation.

The business continues to expand rapidly, and this role has been created to help strengthen its central finance function.

The Group Accountant will join a lean, high-performing team and work directly with senior stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions. This is an ideal second step out of practice for newly qualified accountants seeking international exposure and clear progression.

The Group Accountant will...

• Consolidate multi-entity group results and support management reporting
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and statutory accounts in line with IFRS
• Collaborate with finance teams across West Africa and the Middle East
• Support group and local audits and liaise with external advisors
• Drive financial process improvements and implement stronger controls

You Will Need...

• To be Fully Qualified (ACA, CPA or equivalent) with 13 years post-qualified experience
• Strong foundation in audit / group reporting (Big 4 or Top 10 ideal)
• Confident working with IFRS and multi-currency consolidation
• Experience in mining or natural resources is desirable but not essential
• A team mindset with strong communication and problem-solving skills

This role is well-suited to qualified accountants (CA(SA)/(ANZ), ACA, CPA or equivalent) with experience in IFRS reporting, group consolidations, and multi-entity operations.
