Job Description

Role Purpose

The Group CFO is responsible for overseeing the financial strategy, governance, and performance of the Group and its subsidiaries. The role ensures financial sustainability, regulatory compliance, capital efficiency, and supports the Board and CEO in strategic decision-making, growth initiatives, and value creation.

We are a publicly listed company operating within the IT, Telecom, & Software Development sector. Our portfolio includes innovative technology solutions and software platforms designed to serve both Government and Enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic & Leadership

  • Develop and execute the Group's financial strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Act as a key strategic partner to the CEO and Board on investments, M&A, expansion, and capital structure.
  • Lead financial planning for short-, mid-, and long-term growth across all subsidiaries.

Financial Management & Reporting

  • Oversee consolidated financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant financial reporting at Group and subsidiary levels.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs, financial controls, and performance metrics.

Governance, Risk & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with IFRS, local regulations, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee internal controls, audits, risk management frameworks, and treasury activities.
  • Manage relationships with auditors, banks, regulators, and financial institutions.

Capital, Treasury & Funding

  • Manage Group treasury, liquidity, banking facilities, and funding strategies.
  • Lead debt, equity, and capital allocation decisions.
  • Optimize working capital and cash utilization across the Group.

M&A, Investments & Commercial Support

  • Lead financial due diligence, valuation, and integration for M&A and investment activities.
  • Evaluate new business opportunities, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships.
  • Support commercial teams with pricing models, profitability analysis, and financial insights.

People & Systems

  • Build and lead high-performing Group finance teams.
  • Drive finance transformation, ERP/financial systems, and automation initiatives.
  • Establish consistent financial policies and standards across subsidiaries.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or Master's preferred).
  • Professional certification (CPA, SOCPA ) strongly preferred.
  • 18+ years of progressive finance experience, with senior leadership exposure at Group / Holding level.
  • Proven experience in consolidation, multi-entity structures, and complex reporting.
  • Strong background in strategy, treasury, governance, and stakeholder management.
  • Experience with M&A, investments, or large-scale expansion is a strong advantage.
