Role Summary
The Group CFO will serve as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team and will be responsible for overseeing the financial strategy, planning, governance, reporting, treasury, risk management, and investment activities of Bin Fadel Holding and its subsidiaries.
The successful candidate will provide strategic financial leadership to support business growth, operational excellence, and sustainable profitability across the Group.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the Group's financial strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and performance management processes.
- Oversee the preparation and consolidation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements across all subsidiaries.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, UAE regulations, tax requirements, and corporate governance standards.
- Manage treasury operations, cash flow planning, banking relationships, and financing activities.
- Monitor and optimize working capital, capital expenditures, and investment performance.
- Lead financial due diligence, mergers and acquisitions, business valuations, and investment assessments.
- Establish and maintain robust internal controls, risk management frameworks, and financial policies.
- Provide strategic recommendations to the Chairman, Board of Directors, and Executive Management on financial performance and business opportunities.
- Drive digital transformation and process improvement initiatives within the finance function.
- Oversee external audits, regulatory reporting, and relationships with auditors, banks, and government authorities.
- Mentor and develop finance teams across the Group, fostering a high-performance culture.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CA, CFA, or CMA is required.
- MBA or Master's Degree in Finance is preferred.
- Minimum 15 years of progressive finance experience, including at least 5 years in a Group CFO, CFO, or Finance Director role within a diversified holding company or large multi-business organization.
- Strong experience in construction, real estate, manufacturing, or diversified business groups is highly preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting, corporate finance, treasury, and risk management.
- Proven track record in strategic planning, business transformation, and financial leadership.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
