Group Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)

The firm is now entering its next phase of growth and is seeking a Group Chief Marketing Officer to elevate brand positioning, sharpen its global narrative, and build a world-class marketing function that reflects the quality, scale, and ambition of the business.
This role will suit a commercially minded marketing leader who understands capital markets and financial services, and who is excited by the challenge of taking an already successful platform to the next level.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive the global marketing strategy, aligned with the firm's commercial objectives and long-term growth plans
- Elevate and unify the brand proposition across all regions, products, and client segments
- Lead the firm's external positioning, including brand, communications, PR, thought leadership, and market presence
- Partner closely with the CEO, executive leadership, and regional heads to support revenue growth, client acquisition, and retention
- Build, lead, and scale a high-performing global marketing team, including digital, content, performance, and communications
- Oversee digital marketing, client journeys, CRM, and data-driven performance marketing initiatives
- Drive strategic campaigns to support new product launches, geographic expansion, and institutional growth
- Manage agency relationships and external partners to ensure consistency, quality, and impact
- Ensure all marketing activity is fully compliant with regulatory requirements across jurisdictions
- Provide clear reporting and insight to the Board on brand performance, ROI, and growth metrics
- Proven experience as a CMO, Group Head of Marketing, or equivalent senior marketing leader within capital markets, trading, financial services, fintech, or closely related sectors
- Deep understanding of regulated environments and institutional / professional client audiences
- Demonstrated success in scaling brands and marketing functions for established, growing firms
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate marketing strategy into measurable business impact
- Experience operating across multiple regions (EMEA experience strongly preferred)
- Credible, confident communicator with experience working at Board and C-suite level
- Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability
