We are recruiting a Group Finance Director for a prominent pharmaceutical distribution company based in Dubai, UAE.
About Our Client:

Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for financial and accounting control, planning and actual reporting, and managing overall fund flow, as well as overseeing the Group's trading and investment activities
- Oversees all accounting and reporting functions, including Group-level reporting
- Provides regular updates on the financial health and status of the organization
- Manages financial reporting processes (monthly and quarterly), cash and treasury reporting, budgeting, mid-term planning, and other internal reporting requirements
- Evaluates business investment proposals, including new opportunities and investments within existing operations
- Prepares budgets by developing schedules, collecting and analyzing data, consolidating financial insights, and recommending action plans
- Achieves budget targets by scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective measures
- Ensures tax optimization and full compliance with UAE tax laws, including VAT and Corporate Tax
- Manages the opening of LCs and ensures full compliance by verifying the accuracy and timeliness of all required documents for both company and customer transactions
- Guides financial decision-making by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing financial policies and procedures
- Safeguards company assets by implementing and monitoring internal controls, including credit control, debtor collection, and insurance assessments
- Monitors and validates the organization's financial condition through audits and by providing accurate financial information to the Owner
Requirements
- CA / CPA / MBA qualified, with a strong academic foundation in finance
- 1520 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a senior finance leadership role, ideally within multinational organizations
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and understand the business beyond the numbers
- Commercially astute with solid business understanding and financial foresight
- Proven people management capabilities, with experience leading high-performing teams
- Excellent negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
