RESPONSIBILITIES: - Assist in formulating and implementing the organization's financial strategy, including long-term financial planning, capital allocation, and regulatory compliance, and risk management.
- Lead the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic goals and objectives.
- Prepare & present accurate and timely financial reports and statements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financials, for internal and external stakeholders.
- Analyses financial data and performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement; provide recommendations to support informed decision-making.
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and promote operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate financial information and support decision-making processes, including investment appraisals, pricing strategies, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Manage relationships with external partners, including banks, auditors, and regulators, ensuring timely communication and adherence to reporting requirements.
- Mentor and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, professional development, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Oversee the entire finance department and make critical decisions related to financial management and strategic direction.
- Drive financial management and processes within the Business Unit, support the preparation of P&L projection and analyze the financial viability of new investments.
- Organize and implement internal and external reporting, make profitable proposals and act as an internal advisor to the Business Unit and Corporate Finance to monitor the business.
- Enhance processes related to expenditure and identify appropriate financial methods to better evaluate and measure performance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; an MBA or a professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is a plus.
A minimum of 5 years of experience as finance manager managing the finance, accounting, or a related field, preferably within the financial services industry.
Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently with minimal supervision.
Requirements:
Proven track record of managing financial operations in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Experience with financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
Familiarity with accounting software and financial management tools
