The Group Governance and Supplier Relationship Officer supports the Senior Manager in maintaining a consistent, evidence-based view of supplier performance, contractual compliance, commercial position, governance, and delivery risks across assigned strategic vendor relationships. The role is responsible for collecting, validating, and analyzing supplier performance data, maintaining governance records and contract registers, coordinating internal and external stakeholder inputs, and supporting vendor governance activities. The position plays a key role within the Performance & Governance Office (PGO), ensuring transparency, accountability, and effective oversight of strategic supplier engagements across the Group.

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day coordination of strategic vendor relationships and act as an operational point of contact under the direction of the Senior Manager.
  • Collect, validate, and consolidate SLA and KPI data for assigned contracts in line with approved performance frameworks and metric definitions.
  • Maintain supplier scorecards, performance dashboards, breach logs, issue registers, corrective action plans, and supporting evidence.
  • Monitor service performance trends, identify recurring issues, and support corrective actions, contractual remedies, and escalation processes.
  • Ensure traceability between reported performance outcomes, source data, and contractual service level commitments.
  • Monitor commercial performance, including pricing adherence, rate cards, contractual entitlements, volume commitments, savings realization, and contract compliance.
  • Maintain contract lifecycle records, including renewals, expiries, amendments, obligations, notice periods, and governance documentation.
  • Identify and escalate commercial risks such as scope creep, off-contract spending, non-compliance, and commercial drift.
  • Support the preparation of commercial reviews, renewal recommendations, benchmarking activities, and governance reporting packs.
  • Coordinate reporting and data validation activities with vendors, service owners, Finance, Procurement, Business Intelligence, and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain assigned records within strategic contract registers and approved governance repositories.
  • Prepare governance materials, decision logs, risk registers, action trackers, and stakeholder reports for Joint Steering Committees and other governance forums.
  • Produce regular reporting on supplier relationship health, service performance, commercial position, risks, issues, and key decisions requiring management attention.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at strengthening supplier governance, performance management, and contract oversight practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Law, Healthcare Administration, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
  • Professional certification such as CIPS, WorldCC (IACCM), ITIL, Contract Management, or Commercial Management is preferred.
  • 4-7 years of experience in supplier relationship management, vendor performance, contract administration, procurement, commercial analysis, outsourcing, or service management.
  • Experience within healthcare, shared services, regulated industries, or large multi-entity organizations is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, stakeholder management, and contract governance skills, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
