PL Group consists of two fast-growing businesses, Passport Legacy and Property Legacy, operating across investment migration, real estate, and advisory services. We are looking for an experienced Group Head of Finance to lead the entire finance function across the group. This role requires strong financial leadership, the ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and a strategic mindset that supports our continued growth.
Role Overview
You will oversee all financial operations across PL Group's companies, providing accurate reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic insights. As part of the senior leadership structure, you'll ensure financial stability, operational efficiency, and compliance across all entities while shaping the future of the finance department.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy
- Lead and manage the finance department for PL Group across Passport Legacy, Property Legacy, and associated business entities.
- Advise senior leadership on financial performance, forecasts, investment decisions, and long-term planning.
- Approve or decline budgets and oversee all financial planning processes.
- Drive financial strategy, standardise policies, and introduce best-practice controls across the group.
- Manage, mentor, and develop Finance team members while ensuring high accuracy, productivity, and KPI achievement.
Financial Management & Reporting
- Prepare, analyse, and present financial reports, dashboards, and forecasts (monthly, quarterly, annually).
- Provide weekly financial updates to senior leadership with clear insights and recommendations.
- Conduct profit, cost, and cash-flow analyses to support strategic decisions.
- Oversee liquidity management, including banking structures, reconciliations, and payment processes.
- Manage investment evaluations, dividend decisions, and formulation of bonus structures.
Compliance, Controls & Operations
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, banking requirements, and internal governance procedures.
- Manage internal and external audit processes, documentation, and regulatory submissions.
- Handle all financial compliance matters, including KYC, payment approvals, client payments, commission payouts, and stakeholder transactions.
- Maintain strong control over documentation, trackers, and audit readiness across all entities.
- Oversee debt management, invoicing, receipts, and timely payment cycles.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Legal, Marketing, Operations, and other departments on financial processes, compliance, and strategic initiatives.
- Support leadership with ad-hoc analysis, scenario modelling, and group-level financial projects.
- Build strong internal relationships and communicate effectively with all departments.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Head of Finance, Finance Manager, or senior financial leadership role.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; accounting qualification preferred.
- Proven experience working with group structures and multiple legal entities.
- Strong understanding of cash flow management, forecasting, risk management, and accounting principles.
- Skilled in financial reporting, data analysis, budgeting, and financial modelling.
- Proficiency with accounting software and reporting systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to handle rapid change, tight deadlines, and on-demand requests with professionalism.
- Experience working with auditors and regulatory bodies, and managing financial compliance.
