Job Description

JOB PURPOSE:

The Group Head of Marketing will lead and drive the end-to-end marketing strategy across the group's portfolio of businesses. The role is responsible for building strong brand equity, driving revenue growth, ensuring brand consistency, and supporting business expansion across all verticals and geographies. This position plays a strategic leadership role, partnering closely with business heads to translate commercial objectives into impactful marketing initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Group Marketing Strategy & Brand Leadership

  • Develop and execute a group-wide marketing strategy aligned with overall business and growth objectives.
  • Define and maintain brand architecture, positioning, and identity across all group companies.
  • Ensure consistency in brand messaging while allowing flexibility for sector-specific nuances
  • Lead market entry and expansion strategies for new brands, concepts, and geographies.

Business & Performance Marketing

  • Drive revenue growth through customer acquisition, retention, and loyalty strategies.
  • Oversee performance marketing, digital campaigns, CRM, and data-driven marketing initiatives.
  • Set KPIs and track ROI across marketing spends for all business units.
  • Collaborate with sales, operations, and product teams to support commercial targets.

Industry-Specific Marketing Oversight

  • Concept branding, store launches, footfall generation, promotions, influencer collaborations, delivery platforms.
  • Brand storytelling, visual merchandising alignment, experiential marketing, VIP & client Eling programs.
  • B2B branding, corporate positioning, trade marketing, exhibitions, distributor marketing support. Product launches, showroom marketing, catalogues, digital & experiential campaigns.

Digital, Communication & Content

  • Lead digital transformation across marketing including websites, e-commerce support, social media, and content strategy.
  • Oversee PR, media relations, brand communications, and reputation management.
  • Ensure strong storytelling, visual standards, and content quality across all channels.

Team Leadership & Agency Management

  • Build, mentor, and lead high-performing marketing teams across the group.
  • Manage and align external agencies, creative partners, media agencies, and freelancers.
  • Establish group-level processes, budgets, and governance for marketing operations.

AI-Driven Digital Marketing & Innovation

  • Lead the adoption of AI-powered marketing tools and technologies across the group to enhance customer targeting, personalization, predictive analytics, campaign optimization, and marketing automation.
  • Leverage AI for consumer insights, demand forecasting, content optimization, dynamic pricing support, and CRM intelligence across all businesses.
  • Collaborate with technology and data teams to ensure ethical, compliant, and scalable use of AI in digital marketing initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 1015 years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or group role.
  • Proven experience managing marketing across multiple industries or brands, preferably within diversified groups.
  • Strong exposure to diverse sectors is highly preferred.
  • Experience in regional markets (UAE/GCC) is a strong advantage.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; Arabic is a plus.
