Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking an expert Group Maintenance Manager to leads all maintenance aspects/ tasks of installation, fix & repair, and upkeep operations for a company's facilities, equipment, and machinery on an excellent basis. The applicant should plan proactive schedules, manage budgets, ensure safety compliance, and supervise technical staff to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency with consideration to deadlines in this regard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct preventive and corrective maintenance for high-speed food processing, packaging, and bottling machinery.
  • Ensure continuous calibration and monitoring of industrial chillers (outlets & restaurants), freezers, and refrigerated warehouse/ store zones.
  • Supervise on-site technicians, manage emergency shift scheduling, and coordinate specialized third-party engineering contractors.
  • Control maintenance budgets, source food-machines spare parts, and optimize utility usage (steam, compressed air, water filtration).
  • Develop long-term strategies for preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with local codes, safety standards, and sustainability guidelines.
  • Implement preventive maintenance programs and ensure timely corrective maintenance.
  • Maintain asset registers and proper technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with outside contractors related to projects in the group, new and renovated projects.
  • Ensure electrical works and other similar tasks are completed aligned with group policy and State's regulations.
  • Communicate when needed with Ministries related to existing or prospectives projects.
  • Oversee the design, installation, and commissioning of MEP systems in coordination with consultants, contractors, and project teams.
  • Lead and manage MEP and/ or maintenance teams across all facilities and new/ renovated projects.
  • Coordinate with general contractors during building commissioning & renovation to take over electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
  • Lead energy-management and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture.
  • Establish KPIs and monitor departmental performance.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 15+ years of maintenance experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering is a must.
  • Certified in CMM/ Certified Maintenance Manager or PMP/ Projects is an added value.
  • Leadership skills and Problem-Solving Techniques.
  • Should have a valid Kuwaiti Driving License and own car.
  • Should have a transferable work visa.
