Job Description

Role Summary

The Senior Manager, Compensation and Benefits, Workforce Planning and Organization Development is responsible for leading the Group's compensation and benefits, workforce planning and organization development agenda across multiple entities.

Reporting directly to the Group Chief Human Resources Officer, the role serves as the Group's subject matter expert on total rewards, workforce planning and organization design, providing strategic advice and practical solutions that support the Group's business objectives and growth strategy.

The role works closely with Executive Management, entity leadership teams and Group functions to develop and implement consistent frameworks for compensation and benefits, workforce planning, organization structures and people policies. The role also provides specialist advice on organizational change, workforce investment, governance and people-related transformation initiatives.

Operating within a multi-entity Group structure, the role plays a key role in building alignment across operating companies, balancing Group governance requirements with individual business needs, and ensuring people initiatives are implemented consistently and effectively.

A key priority for the role will be leading the implementation of the Group Policy Harmonization Programme. This includes ensuring approved policies and benefits are successfully embedded through updated systems, business processes, employment contracts, employee documentation and effective stakeholder engagement across all entities.

Key Responsibilities

Compensation and Benefits

  • Lead the development, review and implementation of the Group's compensation and benefits framework.
  • Conduct market benchmarking and provide recommendations to ensure reward programmes remain competitive, equitable and aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead job evaluation and grading activities, maintaining appropriate governance across salary structures and reward frameworks.
  • Partner with Finance to undertake cost modelling, financial analysis and scenario planning for compensation and benefits initiatives.
  • Prepare business cases and recommendations to support Executive Management decision making.
  • Provide specialist advice to Human Resources teams and business leaders on compensation and benefits matters.
  • Monitor market trends and emerging practices to support the continuous development of reward programmes.

Workforce Planning

  • Lead the development of workforce planning methodologies and governance across the Group.
  • Partner with business leaders to understand workforce requirements and support annual manpower planning and budgeting activities.
  • Develop workforce forecasts, headcount analysis and workforce insights to support strategic planning and operational decision making.
  • Analyze workforce trends and provide recommendations to improve workforce utilization and organizational effectiveness.
  • Support the development of workforce planning standards, reporting and governance across all entities.

Organization Development

  • Lead organization design and organization review activities across multiple entities.
  • Review organizational structures and provide recommendations to improve accountability, efficiency and alignment with business priorities.
  • Support the development and maintenance of job architecture, job descriptions, grading frameworks and organization structures.
  • Assess organization change proposals and provide recommendations on role design, reporting lines and workforce implications.
  • Support business transformation, restructuring and organizational change initiatives.
  • Policy Harmonization and Governance
  • Lead the implementation of the Group Policy Harmonization Programme across all operating entities.
  • Coordinate implementation activities with Human Resources, Finance, Legal, Information

Technology and business stakeholders.

  • Ensure approved policies, benefits and employment terms are effectively translated into operational processes, systems and governance frameworks.
  • Oversee the review and implementation of changes to Human Resources systems, payroll, benefits administration platforms and related business processes.
  • Lead the review and update of employment contracts, employee handbooks, the Code of Conduct and associated Human Resources documentation in partnership with Legal.
  • Support communication, training and change management activities to ensure successful implementation across the Group.
  • Monitor implementation progress and provide regular updates to the Group Chief Human Resources Officer on programme status, risks and key dependencies.

Stakeholder Management

  • Build and maintain effective relationships with Executive Management, entity leadership teams and key stakeholders across the Group.
  • Work collaboratively across multiple entities to understand business requirements and support the successful delivery of Group Human Resources initiatives.
  • Influence stakeholders to achieve alignment on workforce planning, organization development, compensation and benefits and policy implementation.
  • Act as a trusted adviser to business leaders, providing practical solutions that balance commercial objectives with Group governance requirements.
  • Represent the Human Resources function on cross-functional projects and transformation initiatives as required.
