Saudi German Health is looking for an experienced Group Senior Procurement Specialist to join our team in Saudi Arabia - Jeddah.
The successful candidate will support group-level procurement activities, ensuring effective sourcing, supplier management, cost optimization, and compliance with procurement policies and procedures across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities, including sourcing, RFQs/RFPs, evaluation, negotiation, and supplier selection.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and key internal stakeholders.
- Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, contracts, and service agreements to achieve optimal value.
- Conduct market research and benchmarking to identify competitive suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.
- Monitor supplier performance, quality, delivery, and contractual compliance.
- Support procurement strategies and initiatives across the Group.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, approval processes, and governance standards.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization, process improvement, and procurement efficiency.
- Prepare procurement reports, spend analysis, and supplier performance evaluations.
- Collaborate closely with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and other departments to support business requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant procurement experience, preferably within a large or multi-site organization.
- Healthcare or hospital procurement experience is highly preferred.
- Strong experience in strategic sourcing, vendor management, contract negotiation, and cost optimization.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Good knowledge of procurement processes, policies, and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic.
- Experience working in Saudi Arabia is preferred.
