Opportunity Overview Growth & Marketing Executive
This role is a key position within our commercial team, responsible for driving brand awareness, lead generation, and strategic growth initiatives across the Middle East. The successful candidate will support marketing campaigns, business development activities, and client engagement while working closely with technical teams to translate engineering expertise into clear, compelling communications.
What You Will Do Core Responsibilities
- Develop and implement integrated marketing campaigns that raise SSE's profile and generate qualified leads across target sectors.
- Support business development efforts by preparing marketing materials for proposals, pitch materials, case studies, and tender submissions tailored to client requirements.
- Manage digital channels, including the website, social media, email marketing, and SEO, to improve visibility and engagement.
- Coordinate content creationwhite papers, blogs, project summaries, presentations, and thought-leadership piecesensuring technical accuracy and accessible messaging.
- Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and client pipelines to identify growth opportunities and inform strategic decisions.
- Plan and support events, webinars, and industry conferences, including logistics, content, and follow-up activities to maximise ROI.
- Track and report on KPIs for marketing and BD activities, using data to optimise campaign performance and demonstrate impact.
- Maintain high standards of brand consistency and professional presentation across all external communications.
Who You Are Matching Candidate Profile
- A motivated marketing or business development professional with25 years experience, preferably within engineering, construction, professional services, or related B2B sectors.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly and concisely.
- Practical experience in digital marketing tools and platforms
- Analytical and data-driven, comfortable using metrics to inform strategy and demonstrate return on investment.
- Organised and proactive, able to manage multiple priorities and deliver to tight deadlines in a fast-paced consultancy environment.
- Collaborative team player who engages effectively with technical specialists and senior leaders and is culturally curious about working in the Middle East.
- A degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related discipline
