About The Role
As a Guest Services Associate, you will play a pivotal role in creating memorable experiences for every guest entering our leisure facilities. Your primary responsibilities include welcoming guests with warmth and professionalism, providing them with essential information about rides, attractions, and services, and ensuring a seamless entry process. You will manage ticket sales using a computerized POS system, handle cash transactions, and actively promote additional products and services to maximize guest satisfaction and company revenue.
What You'll Do
Guest Service Delivery
- Welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Engage each guest as a unique individual and listen attentively to their requests
- Manage and maintain queue lanes efficiently
- Sell tickets and other products via a computerized Point of Sale (POS) system
- Collect payments and make change, accepting various forms of currency
- Balance cash register and ensure timely remittance of sales
Promotional Activities
- Provide guests with information on pricing, promotions, shows, rides, and attractions
- Consistently upsell and promote products and services
- Conduct guest surveys using a company-provided tablet
Operational Management
- Efficiently manage turnstiles and guest services areas
- Handle lost and found items according to company policy
- Maintain awareness of emergency procedures to ensure guest safety
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Minimum 1-year operational experience in a guest or customer service setting
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions
Desirable
- Experience in a similar guest service role
- Knowledge of promotional strategies and sales techniques
- Comfortable working under extreme weather conditions
