An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Handover & CommunitiesDirector to lead the end-to-end handover and community readiness function for a leading master developer in Abu Dhabi.
This executive leadership role is responsible for driving the successful delivery of pre-handover, customer handover, post-handover, Defect Liability Period (DLP) management, and community operations, ensuring developments are delivered to the highest standards of quality, operational readiness, and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the overall handover strategy and governance framework across multiple developments.
- Lead pre-handover readiness, quality assurance, snagging/de-snagging, and operational readiness activities.
- Oversee the customer handover journey, ensuring a seamless and exceptional customer experience.
- Drive community readiness, coordinating with Facilities Management and operational stakeholders prior to occupation.
- Manage post-handover operations, including DLP performance, contractor accountability, and customer issue resolution.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, contractors, consultants, FM providers, and external agencies.
- Lead reporting, performance management, continuous improvement initiatives, and a high-performing Handover & Communities team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Engineering, Property Management, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline (Master's preferred).
- 12–15+ years of experience in real estate development, property handover, community management, customer management, or property operations.
- Proven experience delivering handover and community operations within a real estate developer or master developer environment.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, governance, and customer experience expertise.
- Demonstrated success managing large-scale residential, mixed-use, or master-planned developments.
