Role Summary: Conduct handover, snagging, move-in/move-out, and condition inspections for units and common areas; prepare inspection reports; coordinate defect rectifications; verify closure quality; and support smooth handover and DLP processes across managed properties and Property Management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct pre-handover, handover, post-handover, and move-in/move-out inspections for units and common areas with photo documentation
- Identify snags/defects, prepare inspection reports, and track rectification closure with contractors/FM teams
- Verify completion quality and reinspect rectified works before acceptance; escalate unresolved or recurring issues
- Support DLP inspections, issue recording, and handover readiness checks in line with company standards and site requirements
- Maintain inspection trackers, records, and status updates, and coordinate access/scheduling with stakeholders
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum: High school certificate or Diploma (any discipline); relevant technical qualification preferred. Engineering degree is an advantage but not mandatory
- Minimum 2 years relevant experience in handover inspections, snagging, FM inspections, property management, fit-out inspections, or related maintenance/operations roles
- Basic understanding of finishing works, common building defects, and basic MEP items; ability to identify workmanship and aesthetic quality issues
- Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ability to prepare inspection/snagging reports with photo records; Yardi/PlanRadar/CAFM system exposure preferred
Communication: Good English (Arabic is a plus), client coordination
Project Locations: Various projects within the UAE (mostly in Dubai)
Mobility: Valid UAE driving license and own car (mandatory)
