Head Accountant

We are looking for an experienced Chief Accountant to join a metal manufacturing company in Sadat City, Menoufia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full accounting function, overseeing day-to-day financial operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring the company's accounting and reporting processes are completed accurately and on time.

• Manage and oversee the full accounting cycle.
• Supervise daily accounting activities and department workflow.
• Prepare and review journal entries and general ledger accounts.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and budgets.
• Monitor expenses, revenues, and financial transactions.
• Ensure accurate inventory and cost-related accounting records.
• Manage tax-related accounting requirements and electronic invoicing.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting and financial regulations.
• Coordinate with management and other departments regarding financial matters.
• Maintain accurate records and supporting financial documentation.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4–7 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Odoo ERP is mandatory.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial company is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Good knowledge of Egyptian taxation and electronic invoicing requirements.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage the accounting function independently and take full ownership of responsibilities.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• Experience in metal manufacturing, steel fabrication, or industrial operations.
• Experience with inventory, costing, and manufacturing accounting.
• Previous experience supervising or coordinating an accounting team.
