We are launching a new fine dining American fusion restaurant in Colombo, Sri Lanka, and are seeking a creative, experienced, and passionate Head Chef to lead our hot kitchen operations.

This is an exciting opportunity for candidates who are willing to relocate to Sri Lanka and play a key role in building a unique culinary concept that blends American, Indian, and Sri Lankan flavors with modern fine dining techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

Create and design innovative American fusion menus

Lead and manage hot kitchen operations efficiently

Ensure exceptional food quality, taste, and presentation aligned with fine dining standards

Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff

Manage food costing, inventory, and wastage control

Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards

Collaborate with management on new concepts and seasonal menu development

Requirements & Qualifications:

Minimum 4–5 years of experience in American or international fusion cuisine, preferably in a fine dining environment

Proven experience in a Head Chef or Senior Chef role

Diploma or certification from a recognized culinary institute

Strong expertise in menu development and food costing

Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively

Creative mindset with strong attention to detail and presentation
