Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Head Chef based in Dubai. The Head Chef will be responsible for designing and executing menus, managing kitchen operations, and overseeing food preparation to uphold the restaurant's exceptional culinary standards. They must ensure food quality, sanitation, and safety compliance, while leading, training, and motivating the kitchen team. Building relationships with suppliers and managing inventory are also crucial parts of the role. The Head Chef will play a key role in maintaining and innovating the authentic flavors that Bollywood Stories is known for.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in Indian cuisine and culinary arts, along with menu planning and recipe development skills
- Proficiency in kitchen management, team leadership, and staff training
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and quality control processes
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle kitchen operations effectively
- Creativity in culinary presentation and innovation, with a passion for authentic flavors
- Experience in budgeting, cost control, and inventory management
- Culinary certifications or a degree in Culinary Arts or a related field is preferred
- Previous experience in a leadership role within a high-end dining establishment is an advantage
