Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Head Chef at our new branch in Abu Dhabi. The Head Chef will be responsible for establishing and overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest quality from the outset. Key duties include menu creation, managing and training kitchen staff, maintaining inventory, and ensuring health and safety standards are consistently upheld. The Head Chef will also handle budgeting and costing to ensure the kitchen operates efficiently and profitably. Strong communication with suppliers, staff, and customers is essential to successfully launch and maintain the new branch.

Qualifications

• Culinary degree or equivalent experience of 5+ years
• Strong Culinary Skills, including menu creation and recipe development
• Leadership and Management skills to supervise and motivate kitchen staff
• Experience in inventory control, budgeting, and costing
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
• Excellent communication and organisation skills
• Ability to work in a high-paced environment
• Previous experience working in a high-end restaurant is a plus
