Head Chocolatier

Hiring: Head Chocolatier | Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

We are currently looking for an experienced and passionate Head Chocolatier to join a premium restaurant concept in Riyadh.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in chocolate and confectionery, along with the creativity and leadership skills to develop high-quality chocolate products and lead the chocolate operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the chocolate and confectionery production function.
• Develop and introduce new chocolate products, desserts and signature creations.
• Oversee chocolate preparation, tempering, moulding, decoration and finishing.
• Maintain high standards of quality, consistency, presentation and hygiene.
• Manage recipes, production processes and ingredient requirements.
• Lead, train and supervise the chocolate/pastry team.
• Ensure efficient production planning and minimise wastage.
• Work closely with the culinary team on new product development and menu concepts.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Head Chocolatier, Assistance Chocolate Chef or similar role.
• Strong hands-on experience in professional chocolate and confectionery production.
• Expertise in chocolate tempering, pralines, bonbons, moulding and chocolate decoration.
• Experience in product development and creating innovative chocolate products.
• Previous team leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
• Experience within premium restaurants, hotels, patisseries or high-end chocolate brands is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, creativity and passion for chocolate.
