Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for the Head Coach of Kibera Black Stars, located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Head Coach will be responsible for developing training plans, leading practice sessions, strategizing game plans, analyzing player performance, managing team dynamics, and ensuring effective communication within the team. The role will also focus on nurturing athletic skills, fostering team cohesion, and promoting player development while maintaining the team's values and standards.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in coaching, training development, and performance analysis
- Proven leadership, team management, and communication skills tailored to a diverse environment
- Experience with game strategy creation and player development techniques
- Ability to mentor athletes, encourage teamwork, and build positive team morale
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in sports coaching or a related field
- Familiarity with health, fitness, and injury prevention practices in sports
- Previous professional experience in coaching or playing competitive sports
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage
