About the Role
We are seeking a commercially minded - Head, HR to lead all functions across our regional businesses. This is a senior leadership role that combines the following:-
Regional HR leadership
- Lead and coordinate HR initiatives across multiple Southeast Asian markets, ensuring alignment with regional business priorities while balancing local market requirements and employment legislation.
- Provide oversight and governance across regional HR practices, policies, and employee lifecycle processes.
- Drive consistency in people programmes while allowing flexibility for country-specific business and regulatory requirements.
Strategic HR Business Partnering
- Act as the trusted HR advisor to senior business leaders, providing strategic guidance on organisational effectiveness, workforce planning, leadership capability, and people-related business decisions.
- Translate business strategy into practical people initiatives that support organisational growth and business performance.
- Partner with leaders on organisational design, restructuring, succession planning, capability building, and change management initiatives.
Talent & Performance Management
- Partner with Talent Acquisition on workforce planning, hiring strategy, and critical leadership hiring.
- Work with business leaders to identify key talent, succession pipelines, and development opportunities.
- Lead annual performance review, calibration, promotion, and talent review processes.
- Support the implementation of leadership development and employee engagement initiatives.
Employee Relations & HR Advisory
- Provide expert guidance on complex employee relations matters, investigations, disciplinary cases, and performance management.
- Coach managers on people leadership, employee engagement, conflict resolution, and employment best practices.
- Ensure compliance with local employment legislation and internal HR policies across all supported markets.
People Analytics & Workforce Planning
- Partner with Finance and business leaders on headcount planning, workforce cost discussions, and organisational effectiveness reviews.
- Analyse workforce metrics, attrition trends, engagement insights, and organisational health indicators to support business decisions.
- Develop executive-ready people insights and recommendations for senior leadership.
HR Governance & Continuous Improvement
- Ensure strong governance across HR processes and compliance with employment legislation and internal policies.
- Drive continuous improvement of HR processes, employee experience, and people operations.
- Champion the responsible use of AI and digital tools to improve HR productivity, reporting, and decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related discipline.
- At least 15 years of progressive HR experience, including significant experience as an HR Business Partner supporting senior business leaders.
- Experience leading regional HR initiatives across multiple Southeast Asian markets.
- Strong understanding of organisational design, workforce planning, talent management, performance management, and employee relations.
- Proven experience partnering with senior executives and influencing business decisions through people strategies.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance business priorities and people considerations.
- Experience working in fintech, financial services, banking, or high-growth technology environments is highly preferred.
- Excellent stakeholder management, coaching, communication, and influencing skills.
- Strong analytical capability with experience using HR data and AI tools to generate insights and support decision-making.
