Head of Accounting

GCG Structuring is a leading UAE corporate services provider, specializing in company formation, tax, accounting, visa, and banking solutions. We are seeking an ambitious and experienced Head of Accounting to build and lead our accounting function, establish best-in-class processes, and act as a trusted advisor to our clients on tax and compliance.

This is a senior, client-facing role for a professional who thrives on building systems, leading teams, and directly advising business owners on how to structure and optimize their tax position in the UAE.

Process Leadership

• Establish and document end-to-end accounting processes, SOPs, and internal controls.
• Create and maintain a standardized Chart of Accounts across multi-entity clients.
• Ensure all financial reporting is audit-ready (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).

Client Advisory & Compliance

• Lead onboarding and accounting setup for 100+ clients, ensuring VAT, Corporate Tax, ESR/CSR, and FTA filings are accurate and timely.
• Act as a direct advisor to clients on accounting, tax optimization, compliance strategy, and structuring improvements.
• Present financial insights to clients in a clear, practical way not just numbers, but real guidance.

Automation & Technology

• Evaluate and implement accounting systems (Xero, Zoho, SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle).
• Drive automation of bookkeeping, invoicing, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Explore and deploy AI-driven accounting tools for efficiency and risk reduction.

Team Management

• Lead and grow a team of 510 accountants.
• Train staff and account managers on compliance workflows and client interaction.
• Ensure seamless delivery of multi-client accounting services at scale.

• 15+ years of total accounting experience, with strong foundations in corporate and tax accounting.
• Minimum 5 years in the UAE, with expertise in VAT, Corporate Tax, ESR/CSR, FTA filings, and company registrations.
• Mandatory: Direct experience in client onboarding, multi-client portfolio management (100+ clients), and client-facing advisory.
• Demonstrated ability to advise clients on tax optimization, compliance, and structuring strategies.
• Proven leadership in managing teams of 510 accountants.
• Expertise in multiple accounting systems with a strong record in automation and process optimization.
• Audit and transfer pricing experience locally with network of transfer pricing experts and auditors
• Familiarity with AI tools in accounting (OCR, reconciliation, anomaly detection, predictive tax planning) is a strong plus.
• CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification required.
