What you'll do:
We are looking for a commercially driven, strategic, and execution-focused Head of Ads – KSA to lead and scale our advertising business in the Kingdom. This role will own the end-to-end ads P&L for KSA, including revenue growth, strategic partnerships, sales leadership, agency relationships, product monetization inputs, and operational excellence.
The ideal candidate combines strong media and advertising expertise with deep understanding of retail media, quick commerce, digital advertising, and the evolving KSA ecosystem.
This role requires someone who can build long-term relationships with brands and agencies while also driving high-performance execution across endemic and non-endemic advertising categories.
Business & Revenue Leadership
- Own and drive the KSA Ads revenue targets and overall business growth.
- Develop and execute the KSA advertising growth strategy across onsite, offsite, and integrated media solutions.
- Identify and unlock new monetization opportunities across retail media inventory, data products, sponsored placements, and strategic partnerships.
- Build annual, quarterly, and monthly business plans with clear revenue and pipeline goals.
- Lead forecasting, pipeline management, and commercial planning for the KSA market.
Client & Agency Partnerships
- Build senior relationships with top brands, advertisers, media agencies, and key stakeholders across KSA.
- Drive strategic partnerships with both endemic and non-endemic advertisers.
- Position the company as a leading retail media and quick commerce advertising platform in the region.
- Lead high-value commercial negotiations and annual partnership discussions.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client engagements.
Team Leadership
- Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing ads sales and account management team in KSA.
- Establish strong sales operating rhythms, performance tracking, and account growth frameworks.
- Drive a culture of ownership, execution excellence, collaboration, and customer-centricity.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including commercial, category, product, operations, analytics, and marketing.
Product & Monetization Strategy
- Work closely with product and analytics teams to shape the ads roadmap based on market and client needs.
- Translate advertiser feedback into scalable ad products and monetization opportunities.
- Help define measurement frameworks, attribution models, and campaign performance standards.
- Drive adoption of self-serve and managed-service advertising solutions.
Market & Competitive Intelligence
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, pricing benchmarks, and evolving advertiser needs.
- Stay deeply informed about the KSA media, retail media, and quick commerce ecosystem.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve advertiser ROI and platform monetization.
Skills & Qualifications
- 6+ years experience in digital media or programmatic ad sales/account management.
- Experience selling ads on marketplace, delivery, classifieds, OTT, or publisher platforms.
- Strong understanding of:
- Programmatic ecosystem (DSPs, SSPs, exchanges)
- Ad measurement and performance KPIs (CTR, ROAS, CPA, etc.)
- Data-driven audience solutions
- Proven track record of beating revenue goals and retaining key accounts.
- Excellent storytelling and presentation skills with senior stakeholders (brands/agencies).
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
- Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Familiarity with CRM and analytics tools (Salesforce/HubSpot, Tableau, GA, MMPs).
- Arabic speaking strongly preferred; KSA market experience highly preferred.
