We're looking for an experienced Head of AI Planning & Governance to lead the development and implementation of AI governance frameworks, policies, and strategic initiatives that drive the ethical, transparent, and effective adoption of AI across government entities.
As the Head of AI Planning & Governance, you will:
- Lead the development and implementation of AI governance frameworks, policies, standards, and operating models.
- Drive AI strategic planning, roadmap development, and prioritisation of high-value AI use cases.
- Establish governance mechanisms that promote responsible, ethical, and compliant AI adoption.
- Develop performance monitoring frameworks and oversee reporting on AI initiatives.
- Collaborate with government entities and cross-functional stakeholders to strengthen AI governance maturity.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, cybersecurity, and data governance requirements.
- Monitor emerging AI governance trends and international best practices to continuously enhance governance capabilities.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team while fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
The ideal candidate will bring:
- Strong governance experience within the technology or digital transformation sector.
- A solid technical background in Artificial Intelligence, including familiarity with AI technologies, platforms, and implementation practices.
- Proven program management experience leading complex, enterprise-wide, cross-functional initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience developing governance frameworks, policies, standards, compliance mechanisms, and operating models.
- Strong strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and executive communication skills.
- Knowledge of AI Governance, Responsible AI, AI Risk Management, AI Ethics, and emerging AI regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Data Science, Public Policy, or a related discipline.
- Master's degree or professional certification in AI Governance, Digital Transformation, or Technology Policy is highly desirable.
- 6+ years of relevant experience in AI planning, policy development, digital governance, or related fields.
