JobSummary:

• The Head of Business Development and Strategy will be responsible for driving the growth andexpansionofWorldFreeZonesOrganization(theOrganization).TheHeadwillleadthebusiness
• developmentandplayacriticalroleinformulatingandexecutingtheOrganization'sstrategicinitiatives.Theprimaryobjectivewillbetoidentifyandcapitalizeonnewbusinessopportunities,developstrategicpartnerships,anddriverevenuegrowth.
• Responsibilities:
• DevelopandimplementacomprehensivebusinessdevelopmentandstrategyplanalignedwiththeOrganization'sobjectives,includingfinancialsustainability.
• Identifynewbusinessopportunities,evaluatetheirpotential,createstrategies,anddevelopandimplementbusiness cases,to exploitthemeffectively.
• Conductmarketresearchandanalysistoidentifyemergingtrends,competitivelandscape,andneedsof Organization'smembers.
• Buildandmaintainstrongrelationshipswithexistingandpotentialkeystakeholdersmembers,partners,includingregulatory,multilateral,andglobalentities.
• Leadthenegotiationandclosingofstrategiccollaborations,jointventures,fundingpartnershipsandotherbusinessagreements.
• Collaboratewithcross-functionsaswellaRegionalandNationaloffices,todevelopandexecutego-to-marketstrategiesfornewproducts,services,andprojects,includinginadvocacy,
• networking,andtraining.
• MonitorandanalyzeFreeZoneindustrytrends,globalassociationsbenchmarks,andmarketdynamicstoidentify potentialrisks andopportunities.
• ProvideguidanceandleadershiptotheMembershipandMarketingandCommunicationsunits,includingsettinggoals,monitoringperformance,andfosteringacultureofcollaborationand innovation.
• Prepareandpresentreportsandrecommendationstotheleadershipteamandboardofdirectorsonbusinessdevelopment andstrategyinitiatives.
• StayupdatedonindustrybestpracticesandemergingtechnologiestodriveinnovationwithintheOrganization.
• Provenexperienceinbusinessdevelopment,strategy,orarelatedrole,preferablyinasimilarindustry.
• Demonstratedsuccessinidentifyingandclosingnewbusinessopportunities,expandingmarketpresence,andachievingrevenuegrowth.
• Stronganalyticalandstrategicthinkingskillswiththeabilitytoassessmarkettrends,competitivedynamics,andcustomer needs.
• Excellentnegotiation,communication,andpresentationskills.
• Provenleadershipandteammanagementabilities,withthecapacitytomotivateandinspireahigh-performingteam.

Qualifications

• Requirements: MALE (UAE NATIONAL)
• Preferable experience in freezone and business development.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Bachelor'sdegreeinbusinessadministration,economics,orarelatedfield.MBApreferred
• Provenexperienceinbusinessdevelopment,strategy,orarelatedrole,preferablyinasimilarindustry.
• Demonstratedsuccessinidentifyingandclosingnewbusinessopportunities,expandingmarketpresence,andachievingrevenuegrowth.
• Stronganalyticalandstrategicthinkingskillswiththeabilitytoassessmarkettrends,competitivedynamics,andcustomer needs.
• Excellentnegotiation,communication,andpresentationskills.
• Provenleadershipandteammanagementabilities,withthecapacitytomotivateandinspireahigh-performingteam.
• Abilitytoworkeffectivelyinafast-paced,dynamicenvironmentwithchangingprioritiesandtightdeadlines.
