Head of Capital Market Sales | Dubai, UAE

I'm currently partnering with a leading Financial Institution to appoint a Head of Capital Markets Sales to join its growing UAE platform.

This is a newly created position, driven by increasing client activity in the UAE and offering the opportunity to play a key role in building and expanding the bank's Capital Markets franchise.

Unlike many regional institutions that rely heavily on external counterparties, this bank has an established Capital Markets and Trading platform, warehousing its own risk and structuring its own products. You'll be joining a highly regarded team with leadership that brings experience from global institutions, providing excellent exposure, mentorship and long-term career development.

The Opportunity:

You'll work closely with large corporates, government-related entities (GREs) and SMEs across the UAE, providing tailored Capital Markets solutions while building long-term client relationships.

The role covers a broad range of products, including:

• FX Hedging (approximately 60–70% of the role)
• Interest Rate Solutions
• Commodity Hedging
• Derivatives
• Structured Products
• Fixed Income
• Structured Deposits
• Mutual Funds

This is a client-facing role requiring strong commercial acumen and the ability to originate, structure and execute cross-asset solutions.

We're looking for professionals with:

• 5+ years client-facing Capital Markets Sales experience within a banking environment.
• Strong experience across multiple asset classes (FX, rates, commodities and derivatives).
• Experience advising corporate and institutional clients.
• The ability to structure solutions rather than sell a single product.
• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline (Master's degree or CFA/ACI/FRM/PRM qualifications are advantageous).
