Role Overview
The Head of Commercial Operations is a strategic leadership role tasked with driving business growth, maximizing profitability, and streamlining operational efficiency. This role directly oversees three critical pillars: InStock & Supply Chain Management, Planning, and Pricing.
Beyond functional excellence, the ideal candidate will act as a transformational leader focused on scaling operations through standardized processes, upskilling talent, and pioneering the transition toward advanced digital automation and agentification.

- InStock Management & Supply Chain Operations
- Drive product availability, maximize instock rates, and optimize inventory health (turns, healthy days of supply) while minimizing operational defects and out-of-stock events.
- Partner with external vendors and logistics partners to improve operational compliance, reduce lead times, and optimize end-to-end supply chain efficiency.
- Conduct data-driven root-cause analyses on inventory bottlenecks and leverage automated ordering systems to scale purchasing operations.
- Oversee the end-to-end demand planning and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) cycles, ensuring tight alignment across Brand, Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain.
- Optimize forecasting models to balance market demand with financial, operational, and working capital objectives.
- Manage and refine the competitive pricing framework, including dynamic price-matching methodologies, to sustain market competitiveness.
- Analyze elasticity, market trends, and margin performance to provide data-driven recommendations that protect and grow profitability.

- Talent Growth & Mentorship: Actively train, mentor, and upskill existing and incoming team members, fostering a high-performance culture and clear career progression pathways.
- Process Scalability (SOPs): Define, design, and implement robust Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all three functions to drive consistency, reduce errors, and ensure scalable business growth.
- Automation & Agentification: Champion the digital roadmap by identifying manual bottlenecks and supporting the department's transition toward workflow automation and the integration of AI-driven agentic workflows.
Qualifications & Experience:
Experience:
- Minimum 8–10 years of high-performance leadership experience spanning supply chain, instock management, commercial planning, or pricing.
- Favored experience matured within fast-paced e-commerce environments or top-tier strategic consulting.
- Proven track record of managing senior stakeholders and leading teams through organizational transformation.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field. An MSc or MBA is highly advantageous.
- Analytical & Technical Capability: Strong numerical, SQL/data-modeling, and analytical skills. Proficiency with business intelligence and planning tools (e.g., SAP IBP, Power BI, TM1, Advanced Excel) is required. Familiarity with supply chain automation tools or AI technologies is a strong plus.
- Strategic Vision: Ability to balance macro-level strategy with micro-level execution, driving commercial results through structured, repeatable processes.
