The Head of Commercial Partnerships & Sports Sponsorships will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic vision and operational execution of our commercial partnership initiatives within the sports sponsorship landscape. This senior-management position requires an exceptional leader adept in building and nurturing high-impact relationships with key stakeholders, both within the organization and externally. The ideal candidate will exhibit advanced competencies in strategic negotiation, partnership development, and sponsorship activation, providing insights that align with the organization's long-term objectives. Job Requirements:

  • A minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in commercial partnerships, sponsorships, or related fields within a corporate or sports environment.
  • Proven track record of successfully negotiating and managing high-value sponsorship deals that deliver significant ROI.
  • Extensive knowledge of strategic marketing principles and the sports sponsorship landscape, including industry trends, competitive analysis, and emerging markets.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence a diverse range of stakeholders, including executive leadership, sponsors, athletes, and agency partners.
  • Demonstrated experience in team leadership, with a focus on developing talent and building high-performing teams.
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen to assess partnership performance and drive strategic decision-making.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize potential partnership opportunities and sponsorships, conducting thorough market analysis to inform decision-making.
  • Lead the negotiation and execution of partnership agreements, ensuring clarity in terms and compliance with organizational standards.
  • Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with sponsors, ensuring consistent communication and collaboration to maximize partnership potential and deliver on agreed objectives.
  • Oversee the activation of sponsorships, coordinating with marketing, communications, and operational teams to ensure cohesive execution and maximum exposure.
