Overview: The Head of Credit Products will lead the design, development, and management of Skyro's digital credit portfolio across the GCC. This role requires a deep understanding of consumer credit behavior, risk modeling, and digital lending frameworks. The ideal candidate will be a strategic and hands-on product leader capable of shaping Skyro's credit strategy—from product design to P&L delivery.

Purpose of the Role:
The Head of Credit Products will drive the design, development, and growth of Skyro's digital credit portfolio across the GCC. This role is pivotal in shaping the company's credit strategy and delivering sustainable profitability. The position requires a blend of strategic vision and hands-on execution to build innovative credit solutions that meet the needs of underserved and blue-collar segments—while ensuring responsible lending, strong portfolio performance, and full regulatory compliance.
The successful candidate will own the end-to-end lifecycle of credit products—from concept to launch and ongoing optimization—and will lead cross-functional collaboration across product, risk, finance, technology, and compliance teams to deliver scalable, data-driven, and customer-centric credit solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Development & Innovation
- Design and launch innovative credit products tailored for retail clients segment during their life cycle, such as: Pay-day loans, Salary advance solutions, Remit-now, pay-later services, Cash loans, Post-purchase financing / BNPL-type loans.
- Identify and anticipate market trends and emerging customer needs in the UAE and GCC region.
- Benchmark competitive offerings from incumbent banks, neobanks, and fintech entrants to ensure Skyro stays ahead of market demand.
- Cooperate with the Head of Risk to develop and optimize credit assessment models, data-driven risk scoring, and automated decisioning tools.
- Collaborate with data science and technology teams to ensure responsible, scalable credit underwriting.
- Continuously monitor and improve portfolio quality, ensuring healthy NPL ratios and sustainable growth.
- Own the credit products P&L, setting revenue, cost, and profitability targets.
- Define and track key KPI metrics including: Number of loans issued, Total loan volume and yield, NPL ratio and portfolio performance
- Implement product-level pricing and margin strategies aligned with Skyro's risk appetite.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team across product, risk, and operations.
- Work closely with compliance, finance, and technology to ensure regulatory alignment and operational excellence.
- Represent Skyro in external partnerships with banks, processors, and regulators across the GCC.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in credit or lending products, with at least 3 years in key roles in fintech, consumer finance, or digital banking.
- Proven experience in designing and managing digital lending or BNPL products.
- Deep understanding of credit risk, scoring models, and portfolio management.
- Strong knowledge of UAE and GCC financial markets, consumer credit regulations, and competitive landscape.
- Demonstrated ability to build and scale profitable credit portfolios while maintaining robust risk control.
- Analytical mindset with expertise in data-driven product management and P&L ownership.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- Proven success in launching and scaling digital lending portfolios in the GCC region.
- Strong grasp of credit risk assessment models, data analytics, and portfolio optimization.
