Head of Cyber & Information Security
Dubai, UAE | Senior Leadership Role
We are partnering with an international organisation based in Dubai to appoint a Head of Cyber & Information Security.
This is a senior, high-impact leadership position, reporting into the CIO, with responsibility for defining and executing the organisation's cybersecurity, information security, and data protection strategy across both corporate environments and operational/project sites.
The Role
You will be responsible for:
- Defining and delivering an enterprise-wide cyber and information security strategy
- Establishing and operating an ISMS aligned to ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS frameworks
- Ensuring compliance with regional and international data protection regulations (e.g. UAE PDPL, GDPR)
- Leading cyber risk management across corporate, project, and third-party environments
- Owning incident response, crisis management, and escalation playbooks
- Overseeing data protection, cross-border data governance, and supply chain security
- Building and leading a high-performing cyber and information security function
- Embedding a strong security-aware culture across the organisation
Your Background
- 10–15+ years experience in cybersecurity / information security
- Senior leadership experience (Head / Director / CISO-level)
- Proven experience operating across multiple regions and regulatory environments
- Strong exposure to OT / IoT security and project-heavy or asset-intensive industries
- (e.g. construction, engineering, infrastructure, real estate, energy, utilities)
- Solid understanding of cloud security, SOC operations, and enterprise risk management
- Comfortable engaging with CIOs, executives, and senior stakeholders
