Job Description

JOB PURPOSE / ROLE:

To fully and effectively direct the Data Quality Unit within the Data Management Department within SIMAH. The purpose of this role is to direct various areas related to data Quality such as data acquisition, analysis, accuracy, integrity, conformity, completeness, uniqueness, timeliness and consistency.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

Strategic

  • Directing to the development of SIMAH's Data Management strategic and leadership.

Policies, Processes & Procedures

  • Follows all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work on carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.

Budget

  • Direct the Recommends of the inputs for the Data Management budget under the supervision of Chief Data Officer
  • Directs and oversees yearly budgeting of Data Management in coordination with Chief Data Officer
  • Directs the Work with business stakeholders as Data steward.

Day- to-day operations

  • Directs the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work.

People Management

  • Ensures subordinates have clear objectives, regular performance feedback sessions, formal annual appraisals, and individual development plans, with particular emphasis on the development of talented Saudi national staff.

Continuous Improvement

  • Direct the Oversee the overall Data Management activities within SIMAH and continuing the progress within the department.
  • Direct periodically the Subordinates relation processes and ensure the completion.

Reporting

  • Direct in the preparation of timely and accurate reports of SIMAH to meet company and department requirements, policies, and standards.

Safety, Quality & Environment

  • Complies with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.

Related Assignments

  • Performs other related duties or assignments as directed.

Information Security/Cyber Security / BCM/Privacy

  • Implementation of and compliance with the cybersecurity/privacy/ Business Continuity requirements as per SIMAH's policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that standards, processes and procedures of your department reflect Security/privacy/ Business Continuity requirements (if applicable).
  • Ensure that individuals within your department accept and comply with the Cyber Security/Privacy/ Business Continuity policy, supporting standards and procedures when they are issued and updated.
  • Coordinate with Risk Department to identify and report cyber security and privacy risks and vulnerabilities, availability and continuity risks in IT systems
  • Immediately report cyber security and privacy incidents to Risk Department (Information Security unit).
  • Coordinate with Risk Department to effectively and efficiency implement agreed on security, privacy and availability controls
  • Coordinate with Risk Department to review cyber security, privacy and Continuity controls of third-party service providers for your department
  • Ensure continuity of critical activities and systems that is related to your department.
  • Ensure that all subordinate employees are communicated and aware about the Information and Cyber Security Policies/Privacy Policy/ Business Continuity policy distributed based on Need to Know and/or Need to do basis.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, IS, MIS, Electronic Business, Data Analytics or any in other relevant discipline.

Minimum Experience:

  • 8 - 12 years of relevant experience
