Synopsis
As the Finance Data Process and Technology (DPT) lead, the individual will determine and govern the roadmap for Finance process and digital solutions that enable an efficiencies and strong analytics capabilities to identify cost saving and revenue generating opportunities.
The position requires a thought experienced leader to build innovative solutions to achieve Finance strategy, build data analytics and end to end process excellence, create a process centric culture and deploy latest technology for a state of the art Finance team.
Accountabilities
- Lead DPT team in support of the Finance strategy and roadmap
- Accountable for the design and deployment of standard global processes, policies and controls to ensure efficient process performance
- Enables the vision, roadmap and value generation of Finance through data, process and technology initiatives
- Provide expert consultative guidance for and initiates long-range Finance data, process, data and technology goal and objectives
- Accountable for corporate level strategies and governance related to Finance data
- Accountable as the business process owner for the Finance process management framework and process architecture
- Leads the Finance digital and technology landscape capability mapping and business solution planning
- Governs the establishment of performance, process, cost, time and quality metrics based on internal targets and external benchmarks
- Closely partners and collaborates with Etihad IT to determine the best enabling technology solutions to support Finance strategy and that meets Etihad technology standards and goals
- Regularly reports status updates and progresses to CFo and Finance Executives
Education & Experience
- Minimum of 15 years of business experience with a combination of finance leadership, business process, IT and/or data management
- Experience working in a large and comlex organisation and customer experience orientated business model
- Experience in a multinational company designing and implementing Finance integrated solutions at an enterprise company level in response to complex business strategy
- Experience working in organisations with professional high skilled knowledge workers
- Experience leading teams of subject matter experts in technical Finance programs and processes and working in a matrixed organisation to deploy these in practice
- Experience working with senior executives on complex issues that require the convergence of business and technology
- Experience in providing trends and insights in cost, revenues and other financial and operating metrics
- Understanding of key Finance technology drivers in cloud computing, robotics process automation/AI automation and partnering with technical IT teams to translate Finance business requirements into solution architecture alternatives
