Head of Finance

An organisation is hiring for an open role based in United Arab Emirates.

What You Will Do

In this role, you will:

• Develop and execute the finance strategy in alignment with the overall business objectives and growth plans of the F&B division.
• Partner with business leadership to drive revenue growth, profitability, and operational efficiency across all brands and channels.
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, financial planning and analysis, and business performance management processes.
• Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to support investment decisions, expansion initiatives, scenario planning, and business transformation projects.
• Monitor and drive key financial metrics including revenue, EBITDA, gross margin, cash flow, working capital, and return on investment.
• Drive profitability analysis across brands, stores, channels, and product categories, identifying opportunities to improve business performance.
• Support menu engineering, pricing decisions, cost optimisation initiatives, and margin enhancement programs.
• Provide actionable insights on sales trends, customer behaviour, inventory performance, and operating costs to support informed decision-making.
• Establish reporting frameworks and dashboards that provide visibility into key business and financial performance indicators.
• Ensure robust financial controls, governance frameworks, risk management, and compliance processes are implemented across the F&B business.
• Oversee statutory reporting, audits, tax compliance, regulatory requirements, and the timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Partner with Internal Audit and Risk functions to strengthen control environments and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture while strengthening capabilities and succession planning to support future business growth.
• Build strong business partnerships with Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, Marketing, Human Capital, and senior leadership teams.
• Drive finance transformation initiatives, leveraging technology, automation, and data analytics to enhance efficiency and decision-making.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline.
• 10-12 years of progressive finance experience, with significant exposure within the F&B, restaurant, hospitality, or food service industry.
• Strong expertise in financial planning & analysis, budgeting, forecasting, business partnering, and statutory reporting.
• Sound understanding of F&B cost structures, inventory controls, margin management, cash flow optimisation, and profitability improvement.
• Proven experience supporting multi-unit operations and partnering with business and operational leadership teams.
• Strong knowledge of financial governance, internal controls, compliance, and audit requirements.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, financial reporting tools, and business intelligence platforms.
• Strong analytical, stakeholder management, communication, and team leadership capabilities.

Nice to Have

• Experience within the GCC market is preferred; candidates with substantial F&B finance experience in large-scale international organisations will also be considered.
