Head of Finance Real Estate Development
Our client a leading real estate developer in the UAE is seeking a Head of Finance to take ownership of financial governance, reporting, and commercial support across both corporate and development activities.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Control & Reporting
- Lead accurate month-end closing, statutory reporting, and financial integrity
- Develop monthly and quarterly performance packs with KPI and variance analysis
- Maintain full audit trail and compliance with IFRS and UAE regulations
- Oversee cash flow, cost-to-complete, and project funding requirements
- Review and validate contractor claims, milestones, and payments
- Manage escrow compliance and liaise with lenders for drawdowns and certifications
Business Partnering
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and scenario models for new and active developments
- Support pricing, feasibility assessment, and margin evaluation
- Provide insights to leadership on financial risks, opportunities, and decision outcomes
Compliance
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies
- Deliver investor, board, and lender reporting requirements
- Ensure alignment with legal and commercial obligations
Qualifications & Experience
- Chartered Accountant (CA/CPA/ACCA) or equivalent qualification
- 10+ years of finance experience, with significant exposure to project-based or multi-entity environments.
- Finance experience within UAE
- Proven capability in financial control, escrow management, and revenue recognition
- Experience engaging with external auditors, lenders, and senior leadership
- Advanced financial modelling
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
