Job Description
The role will involve:
- Lead and manage all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Managing a team of 8-10 with a hands on approach.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and financial standards within the not-for-profit sector.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the organisation's objectives.
- Oversee resource allocation to optimise financial performance and sustainability.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and guidance.
- Prepare detailed financial reports for stakeholders and board members.
- Manage risk and implement effective controls to safeguard assets.
- Supervise and mentor the finance team to enhance performance and development.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Head of Finance (UAE National) should have:
- A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent.
- Proven expertise in financial management within the not-for-profit sector.
- Strong knowledge of compliance and regulatory standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead and inspire a finance team effectively.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
