CONFIDENTIAL OPPORTUNITY | Head of FP&A – Egypt
We are currently supporting a confidential search for a Head of FP&A to lead the Financial Planning & Analysis function across Egypt for a leading multinational organization with 35,000+ employees across multiple countries.
This is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing FP&A across multiple business verticals and business units in Egypt, partnering closely with senior leadership to drive business performance, financial planning, forecasting, and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the FP&A function across Egypt, covering multiple business verticals and business units.
- Partner with senior leadership and business heads to drive financial performance and support strategic decision-making.
- Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes across the organization.
- Provide strategic financial insights, performance analysis and recommendations to senior management.
- Develop and monitor business KPIs, financial targets and performance dashboards.
- Analyze business performance, identify trends, risks and opportunities, and translate financial data into actionable insights.
- Lead monthly business performance reviews and provide clear explanations of key variances versus budget, forecast and prior year.
- Drive financial modelling, scenario planning and business case development for strategic initiatives and investments.
- Ensure consistency and alignment of FP&A practices, planning methodologies and financial governance across different business verticals.
- Work closely with Finance, Commercial, Operations, HR and other functions to understand business drivers and improve financial performance.
- Challenge business assumptions and provide an independent financial perspective to support better decision-making.
- Lead, develop and build a high-performing FP&A team.
Ideal Profile
- From 12-15 years of experience as Senior FP&A / Finance professional with significant experience in a large multinational or complex multi-business environment.
- Proven experience leading FP&A at a country, regional or enterprise level.
- Strong experience across budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, performance management and strategic planning.
- Experience managing FP&A across multiple business units, verticals or business lines.
- Strong commercial and strategic mindset, with the ability to connect financial performance with business strategy.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and confidence partnering with C-suite and senior business leaders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to turn complex financial information into clear business insights.
- Strong leadership experience with a track record of building and developing high-performing finance teams.
