A Snapshot of Your Day
As the Head of Grid Technologies Substations, you will target seasoned leaders with extensive experience in the energy sector, particularly those with a strong background in P&L management and strategic business development. You will oversee impactful projects that enhance operational efficiency and drive profitability, directly contributing to Siemens Energy's mission of sustainable energy solutions. How You'll Make an Impact:
- Develop and execute the business strategy for the Substations unit in Egypt, aligning with regional and global objectives.
- Hold full profit & loss (P&L) responsibility, managing budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to achieve profitability targets.
- Provide operational direction for all Substations projects, ensuring effective management of safety, quality, schedule, and cost.
- Oversee resource allocation to optimize project delivery and operational efficiency.
- Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders, acting as the primary representative for Siemens Energy Substations in Egypt.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 15+ years of extensive experience in the energy, power transmission, or industrial project business.
- Proven track record in leading large, cross-functional teams and managing complex, high-value project portfolios.
- In-depth knowledge of the Middle Eastern energy market, with specific experience in Egypt being highly advantageous.
- Demonstrated experience in a general management role with full P&L responsibility.
- Strong leadership, strategic planning, and stakeholder management skills.
