Head of HR - Qatari national

A leading global bank is seeking to appoint a Head of Human Resources for its Qatar operations. This is a critical and senior leadership hire

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in leading the HR agenda during a period of increased regulatory focus, working closely with senior management and regulatory stakeholders.

• Qatari National (mandatory)

• Extensive experience within Banking or Financial Services

• Proven track record operating in highly regulated environments

• Strong knowledge of HR governance, compliance, and regulatory frameworks

• Experience partnering with executive leadership and managing complex stakeholder environments

• Lead the end-to-end HR function for the bank in Qatar

• Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on people, governance, and regulatory matters

• Ensure HR policies, controls, and processes meet local and global regulatory standards

• Provide leadership, stability, and direction to the HR team

• Support the bank through regulatory pressures and organisational change
