Position Title: Head of Human Resources
Location: Erbil/ Field based
Open to: Locals only
Client: Oil & Gas Company
Main Duties:
-Develop and implement HR strategies that support the company's objectives, ensuring alignment with industry trends and best practices.
-Oversee recruitment efforts to attract top talent, and design retention strategies to retain key employees. Manage workforce planning and succession planning.
-Promote a positive and inclusive work culture, addressing employee concerns and resolving conflicts effectively. Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
-Manage compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain skilled professionals in the industry.
-Implement performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and career development plans.
-Identify skill gaps, develop training programs, and promote continuous learning to enhance employee capabilities.
Requirements:
-University graduate from Business Administration, Economics, or related departments.
-10+ years of role-related experience with a minimum of +3 years in a management role in multinational companies, preferably in an Oil and gas environment in remote locations and particularly in HR Management of local nationals.
-Significant experience providing HR support for National Expatriate employees within the Company skill pool.
-willing to work daily in field out of Erbil.
-Good knowledge of Iraqi Labor Law.
- Good experience in employment Contract.
-Advanced English Skills.
-Proficient in Microsoft Office applications especially in Microsoft excel.
